Self-Portrait in a Circle of Friends from Mantua, Peter Paul Rubens, 1602-04.


The San Giorgio Bridge, focal point in Leonardo's landscape of La Joconde
again appears in Ruben's painting of Mantua, a hundred years later.  
This Portrait of Rubens includes a young Galileo Galilei, and the King of Spain, Philip III.
